Building little humans,
not just little athletes.

ActiveED Multi-Sports is a teacher led sporting home for tiny tots, toddlers, pre-schoolers and key stage one. Every session is planned around the whole child — physically, socially, emotionally, cognitively and through communication. And every step forward, however small, is noticed, named and celebrated.

A note from the founder

Because their first sporting steps
deserve a teacher.

Why we started

“I took my son to a toddler football session and felt every flat minute of it. No passion, no plan, no real care for what these little ones actually needed. I knew children deserved better, especially in the years that matter most.”

ActiveED Multi-Sports was born out of that Saturday morning. After nine years teaching PE and now working as a Director of Sport, I built ActiveED on a simple belief. The first five years of a child’s relationship with sport are the most important, and they should be led by someone trained to develop children, not just run a session.

Every session is planned around the five strands of early childhood development: physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and communication and language. Sport at this age is about so much more than sport — and every session is built to reflect that.

Your coach tracks milestone progress across all five strands every week. When a milestone is genuinely reached, a badge is awarded and a certificate issued. No comparison, no ranking. Just your child, celebrated for exactly where they are.

Cleared. Current. Constantly checked.

The safety basics, handled properly.

The non-negotiables every parent should expect, checked, certified and in place before a single session begins.

01

Enhanced DBS cleared

Every coach. Before they step on a session, never after.

02

Paediatric first aid

Certified staff on every session. Little bumps happen, and confident response matters.

03

Safeguarding trained

Recognised training completed and refreshed annually, in line with KCSIE guidance.

04

Medical information, taken seriously

We ask the questions others don’t. Allergies, conditions and family context, gathered properly before your child steps on a session.

What we offer

Every sport, every session, planned by a teacher.

Not just football. Each week we layer in a different sport or movement focus, so your child develops broad motor skills, early teamwork and the kind of confidence that spills into nursery, school and beyond.

The ActiveED approach

Five strands. Every session.

Sport at this age is so much more than sport. Every session is planned around five areas of early childhood development — and every milestone across all five is noticed, tracked and celebrated with a badge your child earns and keeps.

01

Physical

Running, jumping, balancing, throwing and catching. The fundamental movement patterns that underpin every sport, and every confident body, for life.

02

Social

Sharing space, taking turns, working in pairs and groups. The quiet skills that make nursery, school and friendships feel easier — and that your coach is watching for every single week.

03

Emotional

Trying something new, recovering from a tumble, helping a friend who’s nervous. The moments of confidence and kindness that deserve to be named — not just noticed.

04

Communication & Language

Following instructions, learning movement vocabulary, joining in call and response. Sport as a powerful driver of early language — and evidence of a child growing more confident by the week.

05

Cognitive

Solving simple problems, spotting patterns, making decisions. Little brains stretched as much as little bodies — and every breakthrough worth celebrating.

The ActiveED difference

Every step celebrated.

Your coach tracks milestone progress across five strands of child development every session. When a milestone is genuinely reached, a badge is awarded and a printable certificate issued — a permanent record of a real moment of growth.

No comparison. No ranking. No pressure. Just your child, their journey, and every step forward celebrated for exactly what it is.

01

Your child joins

Your coach records their details and begins tracking progress across the five strands from session one.

02

Milestones get awarded

As your child genuinely hits each milestone, your coach awards the badge — based on what they’ve actually seen, not a tick-list.

03

Print the certificate

Each badge earns a printable certificate to keep forever. Earn all five and unlock the Grand Programme Certificate.

Our mission

To give children aged 18 months to 5 years a joyful, confident start in sport — one that celebrates the whole child, not just the athlete.

We’re teacher led, evidence informed, and unapologetically child centred. No comparison, no pressure, no performance. Just a calm, inclusive space where fun comes first, every child belongs, and every step forward — however small — is worth celebrating.

Why choose us

Coaching that actually develops your child.

You’re paying for your child’s time, and ours. Here’s what makes ActiveED different from the session down the road.

01

Teacher led, not coach led

Nine years in PE classrooms means every session is planned, not improvised. Lesson structure, progression and differentiation. Pedagogy your child can feel.

02

The five strands, every session

Physical. Social. Emotional. Cognitive. Communication and language. We name them, plan for them and build them, because sport at this age is whole child development.

03

Properly multi-sport

If a child only ever plays football, football is all they’ll ever know. A varied diet builds confident, coordinated little humans, and lets parents see what their child genuinely loves.

04

Progress you can see and keep

As milestones are reached across the five strands, your coach awards badges and you receive a printable certificate — a real record of real growth, not just a number on a report.

Our founding families joined on 6 June 2026. Here's what they said after session one.

★★★★★

“My 3 year old loved her session! It was super interactive, the variety of sports they did was great. The session is well structured — both Ryan & Shannon are very encouraging ensuring all the children are having a good time.”

“Took my nearly 18-month-old daughter for the first time. A short warm-up before the fun began — several different activities focusing on different aspects of sporting capability, followed by 10 minutes of free play. A good fun environment where the kids could do as best they could with no pressure. Will be looking forward to booking more sessions.”
